A woman's heart should be so hidden in Christ
that a man should have to seek Him first to find her.
When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not
shouting 'I'm clean livin''
I'm whispering 'I was lost, Now I'm found and
forgiven.'
When I say... 'I am a Christian' I don't speak
of this with pride.
I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my
guide.
When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not trying
to be strong.
I'm professing that I'm weak and need His strength
When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not
bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failed and need God to clean my
mess.
When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not
claiming to be perfect,
My flaws are far too visible but, God believes I am worth
it.
When I say... 'I am a Christian' I still feel the
sting of pain..
I have my share of heartaches, so I call upon His name.
When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not holier
than thou..I'm just a simple sinner Who received God's good grace,
somehow!
"that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God." Colossians 1:10

Steven Curtis Chapman
I was listening to KSBJ and was reminded of the very difficult time SCC and his family are going through. When I became a Christian in 7th grade (15 years ago). SCC's concert was the first Christian concert I attended. I thought he was so great. He still is great and his group is still going strong.
I went to his website and found this link. It's worth the time to view the video of his sweet daughter Maria. http://chapmanchannel.typepad.com/inmemoryofmaria/
Be praying for their sweet family.

Firefighter Daddy - Happy Early Father's Day!!
BJ finally got moved to a station on the northside of town, so I decided to take Landon to see him today. Landon loved it, but was a little scared when Dad decided to take him into the truck. He thought they were going somewhere in that big thing! Once he knew he wasn't leaving he was fine and enjoyed every minute. Landon is lucky to have a firefighter daddy :)
