Easter + Camping = GREAT family time!

We had the BEST time camping Easter night. I felt the headache go away as we drove toward nature and trees! This was Landon's first camping experience and he loved it! We had a HUGE tent, cooked out, roasted marshmellows, fished, hiked, and simply spent peace time as a family. It was great. I recommend it for all :)

What I'm standing on today...

Beating great odds is God's specialty. It's one way He proves to us that He can do the impossible. Don't accept defeat if what you're standing for is consistent with God's Word and His ways. Perserve, believing God. Ask Him to fight for you and to show Himself mighty! ~Beth Moore

31 equals O...L...D!

I came home to a wonderful hubby making grilled brocette shrimp, grilled asparagus, and fried shrimp for my birthday. What a blessed day!! He's a great cook!!
(the frog pic is Landon's Valentine's Day bag from his class -- he missed the festivities because he was sick, but I thought the bag was adorable!)

Isn't it great how God speaks to us exactly what we need to hear! I was feeling so inadequate as a Christian then God gave me this word in my study today. It takes practice! And we all know we won't get it right the first time, second, third (or ever be perfect)....but we are getting more godly one step at a time.

Thank you Lord for your forgiveness when I fail you and for loving me as I deliberately train by Your Word to be godly.

Happy 2010! Boy am I looking forward to a new year :)

Big Papa and Big Grammy (my dad and step mom) drove to town from California in their new truck and 5th wheel trailer. What a journey! We are so glad they came to visit. We were all spoiled rotten -- dinners, massage, and toys for Landon. It was a great time. We will miss them much! xoxo
