Phenomenal Performance

I gave BJ Yanni tickets for his birthday in April. The concert was this past Saturday at the Toyota Center and...... OMGosh! It was AWESOME!!! Seriously.....the tenor vocalist made me cry. All four vocalists were great and the orchestra is amazing. I can't put it into words....if you are a music lover...this is a CD to have and a concert to see!

Father's Day gift idea

What do you get a dad that has everything?? A necktie with your angel's picture on it! This is so cute. The pictures don't do it justice. I ordered it for $25 on Wal-Mart.com. It's unique and is definately something they don't already have!!

ASTROS

Check out how close we were to on deck at the Astros game!! My mom scored some sweet tickets! (thanks mom!) In the first inning Landon was ready to go...we thought we'd get him cotton candy to sustain him....nope! doesn't like cotton candy (what kid doesn't like cotton candy!) By the 5th inning and a bag of peanuts he had given up the fight and let us enjoy the game. I hope this is not a sight into the future. Surely he will like baseball when he gets older and understands better :\

A Houston Icon - on FIRE!!

We went to the Astros game last night (pictures to come) and found out on our way home that Gallery Furniture was on fire! It was a 4-11 (which means like 20 fire trucks were there)! How sad -- everyone knows Mattress Mac and Gallery Furniture!! When we passed we couldn't see the fire because it was in the warehouse behind the showroom, but we could definately see the glow and the ladder truck shooting water on it.

Although very sad, those who know me know it made my week to get a little piece of the action!

Congratulations BUH!

Congratulations to Uncle BUH (aka Brandon) on his huge accomplishment of being a college graduate! RaRa and Mimi threw him a fun party with all the trimmings....see the sign they made -- very creative. The cake (yes, the apple and cafeteria tray are cakes) was made by Brandon's fiance's mom -- unbelievable! Much love and many high fives! We are so proud.

Summer has arrived!

Yikes! It's been a month since my last post! Oops :) I never got around to posting Easter pictures so here is one with Landon and his Thomas bubble blower. We also purchased a pool today....it is hot hot hot already!! Happy Summer....hope to have more posts soon xoxoxo
